24-7 Exhibits and the Lions David House Museum (a heritage museum and private lending library) partnered at ArtsFest to let people know about this fabulous historic resource in Snow Show, PA.
Here's what the Lions David House Museum says:
Preserving our history provides the kind of knowledge that gives us perspective and a greater understanding of time. Seeing historical structures and places in person, first hand, transfers the most meaning. Having an online album of historical images compliments "the real thing" by allowing people to revisit their experiences through the Internet, by communicating how images and stories fit together, and it helps preserve the images electronically for the future. 24-7 Exhibits' platform works well for historical societies who seek a thorough, protected, easy-to-maintain display of images and stories, and even allows for the creation of community participation to build and contribute to the site's content!
